What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel? And why is it important for every marketer to have one?

It's a strategy for marketing designed to attract potential customers to your site. It's a sales process by which a person comes to your blog looking for information that can help to solve a particular problem. With certain tools you will be able to learn to build a relationship and build confidence with every user.

This will enable you to understand the visitors' needs. This will allow you to provide the most relevant information to all your users. If you are able to gain trust from a visitor they're more likely to buy your products. The visitor becomes a customer.

Many customers end up becoming extremely loyal customers and will purchase almost anything your website sells. A marketing funnel outlines the steps required to convert a person who comes to your website into a customer that will come back to you for future purchases.

This is the goal that should be achieved. A well-designed funnel will accomplish this easily.

You've got your marketing resources to grab people's interest and draw them into the funnel. The funnel is opened once they fill out the form that you have on your PERSONAL lead capture page. Because nobody is going to sign up on your company's lead capture page, I've declared it "personal". They want an executive to join them, not a small business.

The lead capture page acts as the entry point into the funnel. By clicking the "Sign Up now" as well as "Enter Here" buttons will allow you to enter a new realm of network marketing.

They are getting ready for the event and that is the most effective thing. It's their decision. You've not sold them anything, other than yourself as a leader, a mentor, and as someone that can help them increase leads and bring more cash into their business.

This is the way a typical funnel functions.

At the "front-end" you can offer a free offer to attract and qualify people who may have an interest to purchase your products further down the sales funnel. Sign-up is required to get the product for free.

Now, you can include these contacts in your email lists so that you can email them with other relevant offers.

They will be taken to the page with an offer for a lower price or trip wire deals immediately after signing up for the free offer. This is where they move to the "back-end of the funnel."

If they purchase the bargain priced offer then they'll be taken to a different offer with a higher cost (normally called an upsell). Also, the buyer will be taken to the next product when they purchase the same deal at a higher cost. This process can be repeated for a number of more.
