Leanne grew up on a cattle farm in central northern Queensland, and grew into a vocal superstar throughout school, performing at local competitions and in a variety of live theatre productions. After graduating with a Bachelor in Music Store Brisbane Northside, with a major in Contemporary Voice from CQU Conservatorium She worked for five years in the retail of musical instruments in Queensland's largest print orchestral and piano shop.

Kirk grew up Cairns and began his trumpeting career with the school band. He has played the drums and guitar for more than 20 years. He has a solid background in customer service, having spent 10 years working in one of Australia's biggest print, string and guitar stores. He has also recorded albums that have been praised by national radio airplay and a sound system operated by "Big Day Out".
