One year in life

Here we are – 13+ months after the pandemic. Many of us can’t believe it’s been a year and some more.

Anniversaries – whether they mark happy or sad occasions – are generally a time to reflect on the past and look ahead. But how often do you really look at your sexuality through this lens?

You might want to ask yourself questions like: What went well? Do you have more solo time? Have you and your partner explored new positions? Have you treated yourself to a fun new toy (check out our recommended products here) or experimented with flavored lubricants? Perhaps you just took a purposeful break from sex to sit back and relax.

If you haven’t done any of these things, it is ABSOLUTELY OK! Some people have used activity and distraction to help them cope with fear, sadness, grief, boredom, isolation, and containment. Others focused on surrounding themselves with cozy blankets, cozy pets, and an Olympic-scale binge-watching schedule. No matter.

But – can you plan for the future? Of course you can. What are you hoping for? Casual contacts or a serious relationship? The ability to try something new? More effective communication about your needs and preferences? Those are worthy goals. Now, take the time to sift through some of these and prioritize your sexual needs. And if you need our help, don’t hesitate to give us a call!
